My name is Chris Law and I founded Bold Light Productions.
The aim here is to find creative people - whether they express their creativity through art or business - and showcase what they do.
Born in the UK. Based in Nashville, TN, USA. My life is international and that shows up in my work.
With nearly 2 decades as a photographer and a decade working with video under my belt, I have developed both the skillsets and mindsets needed to deliver on your final product.
On top of shooting client jobs across the UK, South Africa, Australia, and the USA, I’ve also been the primary photographer for Bethel Church in Redding, CA & David’s Tent International; running teams of photographers to deliver large projects. I have delivered 11 projects ranging from 3 minutes shorts to hour long features with crews of up to 30 for Shoreditch Pictures. I produced a 28 episode run of the weekly video podcast Keeping Up With The Joneses.
My business is built upon delivering a service that satisfies and encourages repeat clients and referrals.
I love to get to know my clients and really catch the vision for their project. So that we can work together to produce work that not only speaks of excellence, but of the heart behind it. Giving each project the time and attention it needs to flourish. Always focussed but never rushed.
So whether you already have a project in mind that you need someone to bring to fruition, or you only have the beginnings of an idea, I can work with you to develop what you need, or bring in the team to get it done.
Aside from the business side of things, if you’re wondering if I’m the kind of person you’d want to work long hours with on a project. Know that I am relaxed but determined. I love to finish what I start. I choose to look for hope. I think that there is usually time for a good joke along the way. I love Jesus. I drink a lot of tea. I spend a lot of my spare time volunteering in my community and regularly serve at a food pantry. I like to cook. I want to see people lifted up not trodden down.

In addition to my commercial work I also enjoy creating personal work which can be anything from a celebration of my love for live music, to my travels supporting international outreach work through NGOs, to landscape photography and anything in-between.
