The Secret

At first it may look like I’ve taken to dabbling in the wedding photography industry, but alas not. I’ll leave that job to far braver men and women. No, these photos are from the set of a short feature called The Secret.

Set in 1943, at the height of World War II, The Secret is a musical drama that explores the taboos and vices hidden in ostensibly respectable English society. Apart from unit stills for the promotional materials, I was also asked to edit the feature so you can watch a couple of the musical numbers over at my Drama Showreel

Filmed during a bitingly cold winter a few years ago, I was blessed to only have been on set for a single day to capture these shots. Despite the weather, I remember the cast and crew being in good spirits, especially once we were shooting the indoor reception scene with all the big lights to warm them up.

Looking at these photos, can you tell who is holding the biggest secret?
